The 25–26 school year is off to a great start, and it has been wonderful to see so many Bucs in the library each day. Please take note of the library policies below, as there are a few updates this year.
The library is open daily from 7:15 to 3:45. Students who come in before school are required to stay until the 8:12 bell. The library can hold up to 95 students, so if you need to print before school, it is best to arrive early since we tend to fill up quickly.
Students who wish to visit the library during lunch must have a daily digital lunch pass, available in CTLS under Allatoona Library announcements through a link or QR code. Posters with QR codes are also posted around the school for convenience. During the school day, once the first bell rings, students must have a signed pass from their teacher to visit the library. They are also required to sign in and out using LibraryTrac, which sends confirmation emails to teachers when their students enter and leave.
Students may check out up to 10 books at a time. We do not charge late fees for overdue books. However, beginning this school year, students will be charged for lost books at the end of each semester. Please be sure to keep track of your checkouts and return them on time.
Laptops are distributed daily from 7:15 to 8:20. Once a student has opted in, please stop by to pick up a device. The repair request kiosk is located in the library. Please stop by and enter a ticket if your laptop needs repairs.

The 2024-25 school year is off to a great start! We have almost completed all 1st semester 9th grade literature library orientations. It has been fun to meet so many new Buccaneers!
The library has been bustling with laptop repair kiosk tickets, assigning laptops to new students, helping new students log into all things CCSD, resetting passwords, and much more. Please remember to restart your laptop weekly and run updates! This is crucial to keep your laptop working at its best.
Don’t forget to get a daily digital lunch pass if you would like to come into the library during your lunch period. Directions are posted below, outside the library, above water fountains around school, and in CTLS under library announcements.
